Our People
Kia ora Whanau. Ka nui te mihi ki a koutou - greetings to you all.
Geraldine Primary is kura that has a positive, nurturing and community centred culture.
It embodies exciting, challenging and diverse opportunities, so that we empower our tamariki, kaiako and whānau to flourish and succeed.
Our kura builds resilience and recognises that making mistakes is an essential part of learning.
We have an exciting forward thinking curriculum that prepares our tamariki to face any local, national and global situations and through collaboration and leadership opportunities are ready to embrace the next stages in their lives.
Most importantly our environment is accepting, caring, safe and fun.
What an exciting time to be part of the Geraldine Primary whanau. Please come and visit our great kura and see for yourselves.

We are excited to be holding our Junior and Middle Syndicate TRY-athlon tomorrow and would love to see as many of you there as possible to help cheer our students on.
Our Year 6 students have kindly offered to marshal and support the younger students during the event. This means parents are able to relax, spectate, and encourage everyone along the way.
If you are coming along, please be mindful of where the race track is set up, as it will take up a large area of the school grounds. We suggest the best places to watch your child are either outside the pool gate, inside the Stone Playground, or on the top field where the finish line will be.
A reminder that the students need togs, a towel, a whānau coloured t-shirt, shoes suitable for running, a scooter and a helmet. We will be starting with the Juniors at 11.15 am and when they are finished, we will start the Middle Syndicate.
Thank you for helping us create a fun and supportive atmosphere for all of our students.
We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back for 2026 ????
Here’s some important start-of-year information to help you get organised. Please take a moment to read and save the key dates. We can’t wait to see you all soon!

Lost property will be on display outside the hall before and after the Principal’s Assembly today and Prize Giving tomorrow. Please take the time to have a look at it. Thank you.
Reports have been emailed home and put on the portal. They may take time to get to you so please contact us in the morning if you do not receive it.
