Our People
Kia ora Whanau. Ka nui te mihi ki a koutou - greetings to you all.
Geraldine Primary is kura that has a positive, nurturing and community centred culture.
It embodies exciting, challenging and diverse opportunities, so that we empower our tamariki, kaiako and whānau to flourish and succeed.
Our kura builds resilience and recognises that making mistakes is an essential part of learning.
We have an exciting forward thinking curriculum that prepares our tamariki to face any local, national and global situations and through collaboration and leadership opportunities are ready to embrace the next stages in their lives.
Most importantly our environment is accepting, caring, safe and fun.
What an exciting time to be part of the Geraldine Primary whanau. Please come and visit our great kura and see for yourselves.

3WC – 3 Way Conferences
A reminder that bookings can now be made online for Three Way Conferences, which will take place on Wednesday, 2nd April, from 9am - 6.30 pm. We have set this day in conjunction with Geraldine High School and the school will be closed for students on this day. Three way conferencing is a great way to meet your son/daughter’s teachers as a family, to discuss learning and how they are progressing within the school environment.
The website to book your child’s 3WC is www.schoolinterviews.co.nz. Use the event code vpab3 to access our school portal.
If you need assistance with this, please contact the school office and we will book an interview for you. Please note that bookings will close on Monday 31st March and bookings must be made by this day.

Triathlon Reminder
The weather is looking much better than last week so the Tawhirimatea (Middle) Syndicate Triathlon is on tomorrow, starting at 1.30pm with Year 4 students and then Year 3 students.
For this event, your child will need their togs, scooter, helmet, suitable footwear and a t-shirt (Whānau group colour if available) to put over their togs for the run section. Please let your child’s teacher know if you do not have access to a scooter or helmet or try to borrow one from a friend. Scooters can be shared between siblings in the syndicate.
Middle Syndicate Triathlon
Unfortunately, we have decided to postpone our triathlon tomorrow. The forecasted temperature is 12/13 degrees, and the field is very wet. We will try again next Monday, 10th March.
