Our People
Kia ora Whanau. Ka nui te mihi ki a koutou - greetings to you all.
Geraldine Primary is kura that has a positive, nurturing and community centred culture.
It embodies exciting, challenging and diverse opportunities, so that we empower our tamariki, kaiako and whānau to flourish and succeed.
Our kura builds resilience and recognises that making mistakes is an essential part of learning.
We have an exciting forward thinking curriculum that prepares our tamariki to face any local, national and global situations and through collaboration and leadership opportunities are ready to embrace the next stages in their lives.
Most importantly our environment is accepting, caring, safe and fun.
What an exciting time to be part of the Geraldine Primary whanau. Please come and visit our great kura and see for yourselves.

Thank you
Kia ora Whānau,
Something exciting is happening this week – it’s time to get your tickets for our whole school production, What Lies Between Light and Dark!
Presale tickets will be available this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Here’s what you need to know:
Who can buy now: Each school family can purchase up to 3 tickets during presale. This helps ensure all our families have the chance to attend. More tickets will be released after next week.
Do Geraldine Primary school students need a ticket? No – all Geraldine Primary students are in the production, so they do not need a ticket.
When to buy: Tickets will be sold from the school office on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week from: 8:15am – 9:00am and 2:30pm – 3:00pm
How to pay: Cash only – $10 per adult, $5 per student(high school)/preschooler.
Each ticket will be numbered: This number will be recorded with your name on our purchase sheet - this is not your seat number, just a way for us to keep track of tickets sold.
Can my child buy tickets for me? Yes – your eldest child can bring money to school in a named envelope stating which day and time, and if the tickets are for an Adult or a Student. We’ll send the tickets home with them.
Show times:
Wednesday 3rd September – 6:30pm
Thursday 4th September – Matinee - 12:30pm and evening show 6:30pm
Closer to the performance, we’ll send a note with details about where and when students need to arrive for the evening shows. As a heads-up, children will need to be dropped off at school between 5:45pm and 6:00pm and will be looked after by staff until the show finishes.
We can’t wait to see you there supporting our tamariki – it’s going to be a magical show!
